Funky Misha was born in Novgorod, Russia, but is currently residing in Peterborough ON Canada. Misha started his career as a Radio DJ at a local university radio, where he still hosts two weekly Friday night shows: Disco Drive-By (deep funky disco-house) & Satisfaction Show (dirtier mix of latest tech-house tunes). Playing occasionally in Peterborough clubs, Misha is trying to introduce a North American clubber to modern house music. His greatest influences are Jamie Lewis, Knee Deep, MAW, Liquid People, Hott 22, Dimitri From Paris, as well as current Swedish house producers.
