Brief Experience :
Growing up in North Texas, hundreds of miles from the nearest 'big' city, Ronnie Bruno often dreamed of massive Discos like Studio 54, Paradise Garage, The Saint and The Probe. The picture from the double LP, 'A Night At Studio 54' provided the backdrop for the party that often took place in his imagination. The disco sound was calling. On almost any weekend night from 1976 to 1980 you could find him at Skate Whirl, a roller skating rink that had the word DISCO painted across the wall. Ronnie skated to the latest Disco hits and then rushed out the next day to buy the songs heard the night before. Patrick Hernandez's 'Born To Be Alive' marked Ronnie's discovery of the 12' vinyl format and abandonment the 45 rpm (7').
