Brief Experience :
Lyrix (real name Alex) is one of many Russian men representing Russian trance at this stage. He began his creativity in 1999, he worked in a music shop and sold only trance music. It was a unique shop in the southern district of Moscow. Then he began to work as a DJ. As very few people understand psychedelic trance in Russia, he mixes popular music with rhythms of trance considering he was dismissed from many clubs in Moscow. Alex began to write music at the end of 2001. He did it only for himself. His friends did not understand him and said: 'Why are you sitting all night behind the computer and writing music for yourself, try to send a demo on to record labels, and see how it all turns out!' Alex played his tracks at parties with his friends and so he began to work at private parties. In 2003 he created his own (first in Moscow) radio broadcast in a network - 'Space Portal Radio Networks', where he played psychedelic trance. The broadcast only ran for one year. Alex did different music: techno, tribal, progressive, uplifting trance, psychedelic, etc. He always searched for new sounds in psychedelic trance, added it to a rhythm, beautiful melodies, tried to mix some styles in one, he always experimented with music. In 2005 he decided to release tracks in other countries of the world. 'In Russia now, psychedelic trance has lost the status of underground music, thus I search for other countries and cultures to progress 'Russian psytrance' music.'
