Chris Hewel aka Rizin was first introduced to the sounds of underground house in Reno during the mid nineties by a group of good friends from the Source Tribe. Attending events from Reno, Sacramento, the Bay Area and even LA he soon realized in 1997 that playing HOUSE music for the masses was the life style he was choosing to live. Starting off playing Deep House influenced by those like Hipp-e and Halo, Tony Hewitt, Onionz, Mark Farina and Simon to name a few. Blending the sounds of Electro, Fidget and breaks he finally found the style of mixing that best describes his personality behind the decks.
