Brief Experience :
Cuban born Sound/Recording engineer, musician and artist began his career early as a musician playing guitar by the age of 8 yrs. old. He started at the SBCAT (South Bronx Community Action Theatre) which was at P.S. 5 in the South Bronx playing Spanish Classical music taught by Cuban countryman Juan Gonzalez. He continued to play guitar and incorporate his Cuban heritage until the age of 22 when he began playing piano and was taught by his cousin Lisa Ramos (who collaborated with him to write their first song together 'Hello'). In his teen years he studied art at the infamous H.S. of Art & Design where he began his DJing career in 1976 with good friend DJ Saint Pete (Pete Melendez - Saint Pete Systems). After high school he continued to play guitar for the Ballet Caribe and small local groups in NYC. He continued to DJ and also produced music for local artist in the club scene in the eighties. In the 90s still working as a DJ and sound engineer for local acts, he also was guitarist/keyboardist for acts like Vernon Reid, Lifeline, Gizmo & Ex-Vandals. He also worked with Bassist Stan Pratt from Ex-Vandals not only on art pieces, but also on music for the Hip-Hop, Rap scene out of Harlem.
