Born and raised in Hollywood, California. Dj Skream started like many other Dj's as a bedroom Dj. In 1993, seeing that being on the streets of Los Angeles was getting him into a lot of trouble with the law he decided to stay inside and pick up a different type of skill, The Turntable! Not having many friends that were into 'Turntablism' he practiced on his own. Watched videos, listened to other skilled 'Turtablist' and Mixers, went to shows and many venues where the turntable was used as an instrument.
