Mike Automation is Michael Morris. He got his start in Atlanta, GA in 1988 at The Hanger. Known for his New Beat and early acid house sets, he has stayed true to his roots. He now is based out of his hometown of Charleston, SC, but spins elsewhere (mainly the southeast US). He also djs under the name Micha And D.J.M.A. His New Electro/tech sets have gained notice world wide, with a loyal following to match. He is also producing his own tracks on the Metro Label. The Mike Automation Machine Ep will be out this fall. He has gone back to his roots, mixing the old acid house 303 sound with some fresh techy beats.
