Brief Experience :
29 year old American DJ/remixer/producer Claude Young has been an important figure in electronic music since his beginnings in 1991, launching his studio career producing for Kevin Saunderson at the legendary KMS studio in Detroit. Few of his peers have been able to appeal to the tastes of both major and independent labels in the manner that he has, having recorded for Virgin, Astralwerks, Mo'wax and R&S records alongside smaller cult imprints such as studio K7, Harthouse and Scotland's Soma recordings. He continues to be in great demand as a remixer for artists worldwide -previously the works of Gary Numan, Carl Craig, 4Hero, Sven Vath and Inner City have all been interpreted by him to great effect. Increasing work commitments prompted Claude's move to London in 1997, after his talents were put to more diverse use when he was chosen to participate in producing original music for the Sony Playstation game 'Ghost in the Shell' along side Takkyu Ishino, Joey Beltram, The Advent and a host of techno music's elite producers. Currently enjoying world wide recognition as one of the finest DJs on the scene, as well as launching his new record label Deta Recordings, Claude continues to show his ability to stay one step ahead of his contemporaries - a rare feat in today's musical climate.
