Since a very young age Laura K aka DJ Quakey started listening to dance music, inspired by many DJs and producers of the time like ferry corsten, paul van dyk and of course her idol Tiesto. She started listening to a lot of DJ sets and radio shows online which gave her a great passion for Djing and soon she was mixing her own live sets using software programs before she finally got her own turntables at the age 16. In the year 2007 she started online radio djing, and soon after that her first gig at Gloria, Helsinki. In 2008 Quakey joined the Finnish party agency Millennium. At the moment Quakey is mostly doing gigs in Helsinki.
