Brief Experience :
The year was 1990 and Chip's house experience was about to begin, what started out as a hobby quickly turned into a fascination. The DJ career of Chip Tancil had humble beginnings; like many other's Chip started out on two miss-matched turntables and a rudimentary mixer without a cross fader. He was introduced to the scene by another West Suburban Chicago DJ and mentor 'Acidman.' Inspired over the years by the sounds of Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Lego and Diz, he developed an ear for dark chunky funky beats and sounds. He is known for his ability lift the energy of the crowd in each of his sets. In addition to his appreciation and adoration for the deep soulful house sounds of his native Chicago, he is also known for his uplifting garage sound.
