Brief Experience :
DJ Phistmi was born in Miami, Florida in 1979. While traveling to different parts of the world throughout his lifetime, he maintained his residency in Miami. Today, DJ Phistmi reminisces about his discovery of becoming an audiophile, especially during the movement of 'bass' in the mid 80's. He says that as far as he can remember, he listened to hip-hop on the radio when he was 11 years old and had no idea of what artist playing on the radio. He thinks it was more an act of rebellion than a love for music. He also claims that shortly after, his interest in 'rock' grew because of some friends at school and remembers 'And Justice For All...' by Metallica being one of his favorite full-length albums. Over the next few years, he listened mostly to rock bands like Guns 'n' roses, the Smashing Pumpkins, Gwar, etc., until '98. All these changes in music preferences reflected DJ Phistmi's revolutionary style.
