Yanix has been mixing music since early 2000, but only started gigging since late 2005. He started playing out at a few local clubs in St. Louis, organized and promoted events, and ran a weekly. Towards the end of 2006, Yanix was tapped for opening duties for trance acts at St. Louis's superclub Dante's. Since then, Yanix has shared the stage with Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Micro, Kenneth Thomas, Max Graham, and George Acosta.
