Brief Experience :
As a studied Doctor of Chiropractic, or a studied Doctor of Turntablism, Maji has proven himself to be unique and one of a kind. In his years before college, he started DJing in 1991 at concerts and events for Arizona's Persian and Arabic community. Meanwhile, MC'ing for Hip-Hop act Cultural Fusion, until 1993. While attending pre-med studies at ASU, he produced the Supermarket EP, 'Hologramic Action Figures.' In 1995, he produced Kinetic's LP 'What Is?' with Rukus, DJ Fashen, DJ Radar, Jimi the Mantis Claw, Storm, and Supermarket. With the assistance of hip-hop historian Brian 'Cyde' Halloran, he began the first local Turntablist-based DJ battle called 'Vinyl Infiltration' in Tempe, AZ, where Jimi the Mantis Claw won against Z-trip in the finals. Z-Trip soon thereafter helped him get his first exposure as a house DJ at Jetz & Stixx, in Scottsdale. After graduation in 1996, he moved to Los Angeles.
