Meximike was born in Corpus Christ, Texas. He moved to Dallas when he was nine. It was in Dallas when he was 14 that he got his first taste of the techno scene. A friend of his got some demos from DJs Funk W and DJ Merritt. Meximike found the music so energetic and he could just imagine how the crowd would react to it. Meximike would use his parent’s old disco records to try to mix and learn to beat match.
