Brief Experience :
He is best known as Captain Kirk for over 11 years. You may have seen surprise appearances by Jos? Bongwater or Rexxx Havok aka CPT KRK but only at the most underground venues Earth has to offer. His weapons systems consist of frequencies that would make most curl into a fetal position to setting his phasers on funk. Learning a new sound began in Seattle, WA under the crowd control of Wicked Crew, Funky Techno Tribe, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina. Upon his release from the military and into the underground with his newfound knowledge, he returned to his hometown of Portland, Oregon. Picking out his first records he selected a 10' of Bandulu's Infonet #1 and a 12' of Juan Atkins Space Time Transit on Metroplex. Little did he know what he had just purchased. He moved to Phoenix Arizona in 94 and traveled the world using it as his hub. He spent a few years in London where he lived with Tim Taylor. He worked with Eukatech and made contacts like Space DJ's, Inigo Kennedy, Alex Silverfish, Graham from TIP, Grant and Kelly form Rephlex, Marc Williams, Chris Liberator, Henry the Drummer, thus beginning his network for the UK. Playing clubs like Mass, Orbit, Fabric he soon learned there was much to be seen and learned from Europe and planned to return another day after the birth of his son. As he calculated his next moves, he stayed local and performed with the majority of talent from Detroit like Derrick May, Stacey Pullen, Kevin Saunderson, Eddie Folks, T-1000, D Wynn, Juan Atkins, Mike Dearborn- Chicago's Green Velvet, DJ Rush, Sandy Warez. Arizona has produced some reputable DJ's, which the captain was no stranger to. As he Danced it up at Chupa with Eddie Amador or practiced backspins till 6am with Sandra Collins at the crib de la Kool-Aid electric, he never stopped as he watched them achieve greatness while he waited. He studied Z-trip and watched radar turn from a kid in his bedroom to a powerful entity in the hip-hop community. While waiting he began work in the studio using analog hardware around 96. He and his partner Laser J explored sound with their own sound system using gear like Sequential's Pro One or Roland's famous 909, 808, 303. Their paths separated for a few years only to cross again with newfound knowledge from their journeys abroad learning and experimenting. Currently the Captain has conceptualized a new mixer for true 5.1 that will be affordable to the average DJ and waits as the software issues are handled by Technics for their new Digital Direct Drive CD players. Unfortunately that is an integral part of his model to be used with his mixer. The process of starting a library for 5.1 music is under way. Due to the modified solution he came up with for the CD players many well known performers have already agreed to back this new creation knowing full well that this could possibly and may well change the way music is being presented in the undergrounds all over the world. His design factors minimal cost to existing sound systems at venues making this new concept's implementation only a matter of time. You will understand when the tour begins the amount of time, energy, and devotion given to this project for the past 5 years. So prepare to be boarded and drop your glow sticks because this Captain takes no prisoners and leaves no one alive!
