Brief Experience :
The future is bright for house music and certainly for JJ Saenz. A California native, he was introduced to electronic music in the rave capital of San Francisco. It was not long before he had turntables and a mixer, causing mayhem with the neighbors. Before having an opportunity to break into the rave scene, JJ moved to Europe. Here he was exposed to a different breed of electronic music, but undeniably familiar. In the nightclubs of Paris, London, Barcelona and Amsterdam, he evolved and developed a new sound. Upon return to United States, he played an anthemic, rhythmic melodic house inspired by his travels. This sound was new in the US, made famous by the likes of Daft Punk and Cassius. JJ began gigging consistently. First raves, then the clubs, eventually playing at massives like Cyberfest, Planet New Year, and the Loveparade. He has played across the US, in Mexico, the Bahamas, and the UK. JJ has released several full-length, continuous DJ mixes including Ma Fille Cherie, L'amour Encore, and Electroluv. He is Co-owner of Jetset Music Group/Jetset Recordings, and continues to be a fixture in the dance music community. Beginning a tour in the Caribbean, and with a new CD to be released in early 2008, JJ Saenz will undoubtedly be rocking the decks in a city near you.
