SCM (somebody called me) Sebastiaan started out as a drive inn dj in 1994 and played for the first time at a school party with mainstream music, but thats not really what he wanted to be, so 4 years later he bought his turntables and started with vinyl. So he was born as a house dj in 1998. At first he started with club and trance music and called himself Dj Sebastiaan. A year later (1999) he was playing at a local disco in his village (Meppel) with his own small trance mix. In 2000 he changed from trance to progressive house and with 4 friends organised a house party in Meppel it was called cultuurshok 2000. That party was a success but they never tried it again, maybe in the future they will though. In 2002 sebastiaan was a dj by a bookingcenter for disco's and played everywhere in Holland mixing every kind of music. He has also mixed for Livesets.com in Belgium (Oostende) at a techno party. He also played in his own town at a dj contest from Dimension M on 29 of April 2003. He won the dj contest the first time he entered with his own style groove and progressive and started playing at local cafe's with Dimension M.Later he won the second competition. Now he is a resident in the moods bar in Meppel. Once a month he plays there and its called SCM SEBASTIAAN 'inn progress'
