A hidden jewel in the West End, Zomba is a great spot to hang out with friends over a well-made cocktail or two. The street-side front room is charming and well placed for people watching, but it's compact to say the least, and if you want more space to sprawl, and a chance to escape the unavoidable traffic noise, you'd be better off heading to the unexpectedly spacious courtyard area at the back. Cocktails, as mentioned, are top notch, and the Australian-influenced tapas (no, not shrimp from the barbie) is of a very high standard. DJs play on weekends and it's also worth checking out in daylight hours, having acquired a reputation as one of the best places in town to 'do' brunch.
