Mures - a Tasmanian Icon - Picturesque setting on the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht race wharf - Victoria Dock. Family Bistro, serving meals all day. Also freshly roasted coffee and cakes, 24 varieties of ice-cream.
Mures Lower Deck
The Bistro 11am -9pm: Enjoy your fish and chips sitting amongst the fishing boats, watching the days catch being unloaded. Here we keep the meals simple and the prices are kept to a minimum. Our fast food bistro cooks all seafood to order in polyunsaturated low cholesterol soya bean oil. Wherever possible we use fresh fish, occasionally, due to weather or seasonal fluctuations, we use our own excellent quality frozen fish.
The Bar: As with all Mures areas the Lower Deck has a liquor licence for diners.
The Polar Parlour 8am-9pm: After your meal try the selection of cakes and freshly baked biscuits from our Polar Parlour. Why not try one of our 21 varieties of ice-creams and Gelatis?
For the Kids: We are a family restaurant and we try to cater as much as possible for children. We have puzzles and drawing materials available, as well as booster seats and high chairs. We have a clinker dingy outside on the decking for the kids to play in. We have a party planner and cater particularly well for children's parties or school groups.
The Fish Mongers 7am-6pm: The Mures businesses are based on seafood and we pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our produce. We have an excellent selection of fish and shell fish, and Mures made pates, smoked fish, soups and marinated seafoods.
